Christmas Day 2008

We had a wonderful Christmas. I will remember Brooke's face always. Although she had no idea where everything came from..she just knew she had new stuff to play with. Christmas was a very busy day. We started off at home and then left for 3 additional houses to spend Christmas with our families. Brooke was very blessed to have a wonderful Christmas and was spoiled at all the houses she went to.

Jen's Christmas Party

Saturday night was my work Christmas party....our parties are always so much fun. Every year we have a karaoke competition and over last few years the competition gets kinda of steep...we no longer just get up there and sing a song, you have to have a performance prepared. This year we decided to sing "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky...David was willing to be our Italian Stallion..haha poor guy, its bad enough that he works with ALL women but he gets stuck doing whatever we want him to do...Thank Goodness he is a good sport. He ordered his robe and trunks mainly because his son would want to play dress up after the party. We went to Hobby Lobby and got our shirts and painted them for around 4.00 each...not bad considering we won $300.00...for our performance and are the 2008 Christmas Party Champs....it is so much fun to see what each group will come up with. Here are a few pics.

A time to be Thankful

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went to Chris's parents and of course Brooke was the Star...everyone wanted to hold her and love on her...and after an hour or two mostly everyone was able to get some loving without her throwing herself out. We have so much to be Thankful for this year...with the new house, new car, and now a New Baby in 2009....thats right, for those of you who do not already know. I am blessed to be pregnant with my 2nd child and I am due July 20th. This baby is such a blessing and Chris and I are over the moon excited. I got to hear the heartbeat on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and it was such a beautiful 113 BPM. We put are tree and Christmas decor out this weekend and its sooo different with an 18 month old. Brooke thinks all the Christmas Balls are balls she can throw and play with and the candy garland she wants to take off the tree and eat as well.....So glad we did not get a real tree and decided to put up our artificial one....I do not think a real one would have any bristles left...but she loves it and I can not wait for Christmas this year.

My hubby has a huge family...believe it or not there were about 5 people who were at Thanksgiving that was not in the picture.

Black Friday was cold and rainy and we stayed in and played and laid around all day...I never made it out of my pajamas..it was so nice.
