Brooke's First Vacation

All and all we had and ok trip...I would not say it was great nor would I say it was money well spent. I did enjoy watching Brooke see all the differnt things Disneyworld had to offer. She pretty much hated the characters...some more than others. It really all came down to how much effort they put into making her feel ok. If they rushed her, she would have a meltdown. We all had our hangups on this trip. Brooke's 2nd tooth broke thru the gums on Saturday night so that would def explain some of her actions while we were there...but she was such a trooper. Everyone kept commenting how good she was for her age. I got flu like symptoms on Wednesday from our trip, where I was vomiting, running fever, I lost my voice and such basically felt like "poo". Chris's back was hurting him so bad he could barely walk so we had a very laid back trip. Brooke started standing up while we were there free hand. She has started pulling up more since we have been back home, but there she would put both hands on the floor and put her butt in the air and stand up. Florida here we come !!

So we are all packed and ready to go to Disneyworld. I am so ready for this vacation, I hope it goes well. Brooke has not felt good the last couple weeks and I am hoping this trip will not be to hard on her. It was to late to cancel or I think we would have. She had a great day today, so hopefully she is on the road to recovery. I took a couple pics of her in one of her swimsuits(she has 3) and her sunglasses and her imitation crocs...too friggin cute. I will plenty of happy pics to post when I return. So enjoy!!

Stinky ol Virus

This by far has been a rough few days. Brooke has been running fever, vomiting and diarrhea. She has a bad ear infection in one of her ears and they are thinking she might have rotovirus. So far today she has had one bottle and that is it. She turns her head everytime she sees her bottle. I am hoping she takes something soon, otherwise a trip to the ER might be in our future.
