Brooke's Birthday

I guess Brooke is going to have my curls after all.....now that her hair is getting longer in the back it has really started curling in the back and on the sides. While playing outside her hair curled up into these pretty little curls.

Opening her Presents from Mommy & Daddy...she got a swimming pool with slide and a Darby Doll (from winnie the pooh) she loved them both.









Her Pooh Bathing suit...we gave it to her a day early for her to wear at our Streets Crawfish boil...we had at our Subdivision Pavillion since it was raining off and on. She had a blast playing in the pool and with all our neighbors kids.

My Baby Brothers Graduation

My Baby Brother Graduated from Louisiana Tech this past Saturday with a Bachelor in Liberal Arts. I am so proud of him.

Brooke's 2nd Birthday & Maternity Pics

These were my Maternity pics with Brooke...Chris chose not to go...kinda of hurt my feelings, but I told him I was not begging him this time..if he did not want to go he did not have to...he chose not to...He hates to take pictures. I think they turned out pretty good to just be at a Portrait Studio.

Happy 6th Anniversary

Sunday was our 6th Wedding Anniversary. We went to dinner Saturday and to a movie to celebrate.

Oh No....NOT Barney!!!!!!

Well...when Chris and I had kids we decided that we did not like Barney and we would never introduce his show to any of our kids.....but, at Daycare they watch him as well as others in the afternoon. The other night I was playing Nursery Rhymes on my laptop and you could tell that Barney was singing in one of them but it never showed him...so Brooke starts yelling "Eeyore, mommy...Eeyore sing" I said Baby Eeyore(from Winnie the Pooh) is not singing...she keeps saying it....so I pull up Barney and I said who is this...she starts jumping up and down squealing and pointing...Eeyore, Mommy Eeyore and since then she wants to see Eeyore sing...we keep correcting her that his name is Barney...mainly b/c we feel bad for Eeyore...haha. With the excitement that it clearly brings her and not to mention hearing her sing I love you...you love me is so darn cute...we broke down and bought a 5.00 DVD at Wal-mart. Here are pics of intently watching and videos of her too. I swear never to say never again!

Mother's Day Weekend

Happy 63rd Birthday Pop-Paw....Daddy shared his birthday with Mothers's day this year.






Happy Mother's Day Gam-Maw....aka Mam-Maw....Brooke can't say her "g's" to well yet....we got her a digital camera for Mother's / Birthday gift...she just a laptop for Christmas so we are slowly moving her into the digital age....the tears are b/c she likes it!!






Happy Mother's Day Gammy...we got her Jammies and a Coffee mug for her trip. She liked them.






What's wrong with this picture....It's Mother's Day and we did not take "One" picture of the mother...I always have to ask Chris to take my picture...which is why I never have any.




Brooke is my big helper...and one of her favorite things to do before we leave in the mornings or go somewhere is to put food in the dogs bowl and give them a cookie....she always gives them more than one so she usually takes a seat and gets comfortable...here she is Mother's Day morning feeding them cookies.






Saturday I cleaned out the spare bedroom...AKA Maggie's room...it has been basically a storage room. Chris went to Home Depot and got some lumber and floored the attic so we could store everything up there....a very hot day for him. 90 degree day and almost a 100% humidity and he was in the attic for 6 hours....needless to say he was dehydrated that night and the next day felt rotten...but we got it all done. While cleaning out the spare bedroom I came across a box of Mardi Gras beads and Brooke got in them and started putting them on...hence the pictures below.
