Neglected the blog...but lots of pics

So I finally got all these pics uploaded....blogger must be having issues this morning because it took forever. I have been neglecting the blog but I do at least have tons of pics...I had more but stopped because it was taking to long. I was on vacation after my birthday and we pretty much just hung around the house. We did go over to Tyler, Texas and went to the Caldwell Zoo...Brooke had a good time running around playing...did not enjoy the ride so much. I took her to get pics in her Daisy Duck costume and they turned out really good. I think we are going to take her to the Trick or Trunk at the church and then our street is having a block party for the kids on halloween so we probably will not be going door to door...plus I do not think she would understand anyway. The Greatest Gift

2 years ago today...on my 30th birthday I found out that I was pregnant with my precious Brooke. There are not any words big enough to describe the way it felt to finally be pregnant. After trying for so many years and to find out on my birthday was the best present God has ever given me. As I sit here on my 32nd birthday typing after rocking my angel to sleep I am still at a loss for words for how blessed I am. She is so sweet and has a big personality. I have a lot of pictures to post but for now I will post the one of her wearing Mommies shoes...I guess I should get used to her taking everything of mine....but thats OK I am happy to share!!

Bargain Shopping Weekend

If you know me at all you know I am a bargain shopper. Chris was out of town all weekend and Brooke decided to get up bright & early Saturday morning. I decided to gargage saleing. Tiburon is the subdivision down from us and they were having a community gargage sale. I found Brooke a few toys and stuffed animals and then I got a house of lady with a little girl. She and I were talking and she asked me if I knew anything about the Reruns are Fun sale. I told her yes and that it just past a few weeks ago she told me she had tons of smocked dresses in her attic if I wanted to look at them.....ummm yeah. Now I am not sure if the Smocked dresses are a Southern thing, my June baby friends can tell me. Smocked dresses are very big here in Louisiana...that along with a big bow to match. I ask this because I have friend that is from Ohio and she has a 1 year old...she said that she could not go anywhere at home and find dresses like that. She had never even seen them until she moved here. Anyway, I got her a Thanksgiving, Her next Birthday dress, Her Easter dress and 2 that were just cute. These dresses range from 50.00-80.00 a piece and I paid......(Drumroll)......10.00 a piece. She had some really cute ones...probably thousands of dollars worth. I also was a hunt this weekend for some lightweight cotton pants for daycare and some t-shirts for Brooke...she has went thru a growth spurt recently and everything looks like a half shirt. I got her the cutest pair of boots at the Childrens Place outlet in the Boardwalk sooo cute. I have included pics of all and some of my little monkey climbing in and out of the stroller. I swear she has No Fear.









We have a climber!! We climb on anything and everything.
