Ride the Horsey go to Town

Hi all. We are finally crawling...but only to something we want to get into. Brooke does not crawl for long periods of time. It could be because we do not have carpet and she slips and slides so its just to much work. I do not have a lot to update on on, just wanted to share a cute pic of her riding her pink horsey that Gam-ma and Pop-Pa gave her for Christmas. I also included a pic of her sleeping with her little lamb from her Easter Basket, it sings Jesus Loves me....and she loves it. It was such a sweet pic.

Hoppy Easter!!!

Happy Easter everyone. I love Easter and have had fun doing Brooke's first Basket(s). My Parents never did anything from the "Easter Bunny" but Chris's parents did so I decided to split her one basket into 2; one from the bunny and one from us. We are giving the smaller one with her name on it from the bunny and the other big one is from us...made the best of both worlds. I of course had fun dressing her up in the bunny ears...and as you can see she was not diggin it much.Shealso got a hold of my bolt of ribbon and wrapped herself up in it...I guess she is my Easter present...the bunny forgot all about me:~( God Bless everyone and your family.

New Friend on the playmat

So if you are family you know that Chris is a HUGE Disney fan...HUGE. So rewind 5 years to Valentines day 2002 and I come home to find my present in the center of our bed. A almost lifesize Mickey Mouse was Chris's idea of a perfect Valentines gift for me.(Can you say Selfish Gift) anywho...Mickey has been moved from room to room because he just did not fit in anywhere. His final home has been the storage building in a garbage bag. Well we decided over the weekend that since Brooke loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse soooo much that we would dig it out and put it on her playmat. She loves it...her first reaction was like heeeyyyy where did you come from but now she lays on his foot and he fits right in with her Minnie Mouse baby doll and Rattle. Mickey finally has a home and I finding new joy with the Valentines present that did not make sense to me several years ago.

No Fair

Sooo I am a little late with my post, but I have been busy. We went to the St Paddy's Day parade this psat weekend and Brooke loved it. Then on Monday we went to the doctor because she was feeling rotten and she got her finger pricked...No fair she said because she was wearing green. We also did a little yard work, had to mow our grass and I weeded the flower beds and got a sunburn....I know I know only 2 post ago it was snowing and now a sunburn, gotta love this wonderful Louisiana weather. 9 month / Easter Pic

Sorry I have been MIA for a few days. I am so busy at work and the weather has been so beautiful the last few days, that when I get home I grab the stroller and go for a stroll. We went Sunday and took Brooke for her 9 month/Easter Pictures. We went to portrait innovations(love that place) they took 101 pics so I have included some of my favorites. My MOST favorite is her in the sailor dress on the ABC boxes with her tongue out....love it. I will try and catch up soon.

This Crazy Louisiana weather

Soooo living in Louisiana we are used to pretty crazy weather but yesterday and today take the cake....hmmm lets see yesterday 72 and sunny today 35 and 2 inches of snow so far. Of course it is melting as it hits the ground but it is crazy crazy. I wish it would have been cold enough to stick so I could have had a snow day with my baby girl. Hi Ho...Off to work we go!!!!

Well we are all starting to get well...I think. So had an OK weekend. I worked Saturday, I have to work a Saturday maybe once every 11 weeks or so from 9-12 so its not bad and I have not been to my office in 3 weeks because I have been Downtown training a new employee for that Branch. Well Chris had made an appointment to get one of our dogs groomed and was nervous how he was going to handle both the dog and Brooke in the car...so I rescued him and took her to work with me. She had fun and actually took a loonnng nap on my floor on her playmat...for an hour. Here are a few pics of the day.
