Relaxing for some....Nesting for others!!

I am 36 weeks preggo today....Chris took these pics before I went to work Saturday....Man I look as tired as I feel.





Brooke truly has the life....could she look any more comfy in the Rocker...watching Tigger & Pooh. She has been really crabby and clingy the past week or so....I think we are working on our molars and they are making her that way.








My nesting comes in spurts and at random...this past weekend the pantry was bugging me...so I spent the morning re-organizing...before you would open the door and pray something did not fall on you. I know it is stocked with junk....I'm pregnant with a 2 year old...haha





Our neighbors little girl Ava had her 3rd birthday party last weekend. Brooke had no fear of the pool at the end of the slide...even though the bigger kids were sliding down and almost hitting her. Chris went home and got her pool but she stilled wanted to play in the bigger one....she did hang out for a little bit in her pool with some of the neighbor kids. My favorite is the one where she is lounging back with her feet propped up.

Maggie's Baby Shower

My Baby shower invitations were adorable and I loved how they matched the colors of Maggie's room with the shower. Everything was so wonderful. I did not get to come to my work shower with Brooke b/c I got put in the hospital so I was so glad I got another chance. I work with a wonderful bunch of girls. I felt so special.







Opening my gifts....I loved the Bib that says...."I Love my Big Sister"....I am so excited and nervous at the same time for Brooke to be a Big Sister.

Our New Neice...London Rose Landman

Introducing London Rose Landman born 6/7/09 at 1:33 PM. Jaleen's due date was the 20th so she came a little less than 2 weeks early. Weighing 6lbs 13oz and 19 3/4 inches long. She is very beautiful, alert, seems to be easy going baby. Will not be long until cousin Maggie Elise will be here to play with.

Everyone taking turns holding the baby...Brooke was not so sure about this baby thing. She kept telling me the entire time I was holding London...I want you to hold me Mommy. Then when I was holding both of them she wanted down.

Sleepy Thursday

I still rock Brooke to sleep every night...I know shame shame...but here lately she just fights sleep even though I know she is tired. So I have been rocking her for around 30 min and then putting her in her bed...she usually cries for 3 or so mins and she is out. Well Chris is out of town and I rocked her Tuesday night probably for 45 min and she was not giving up...so I said baby Mommy has got to put you in your bed and she said..."Alright, I want my baby"....so I gave her the baby and laid her down in her crib and she rolled over with the baby and said "Night..Night Mommy" she did not make a peep. Chris wanted a picture of her with her baby, b/c she has never requested them before...so at the risk of waking her up I took this and sent this to him. Although I must add it did not last long b/c she fought me last night and then woke up screaming 2 hours later...after 15 min of crying I finally went and got her and put her in my bed which is why I am sleepy today...but I am enjoying it before Maggie gets here.

Brooke's 2nd Birthday Party

We had Brooke's 2nd Birthday party at the park this past Saturday. Our park has a huge sandbox, several slides, and a water part that has water gun typer things and water that shoots out of the pavement and down etc. It was packed as always so Chris got to the park at 930 to hold us 2 pavillions for her 11 AM party. Thank Goodness he did because there were people trying to talk him out of our tables and he said absolutley not...but it turned out ok. She had a blast and the best part about it...it was Free...haha except all the stuff I brought for the party. So hard to believe she is two....well hard to believe until she throws one of her tantrums that she has gotten very good at it within the last 6 weeks or so. She does ok and is well behaved most of the time, but if she is tired she will throw herself about eveything as well as fight me on going to sleep. She is talking so good, and repreating eveything...it just amazes me how much she has grown.














Playing in the Water...Our park has water shooting out of the ground and water sprinkler like things on one side...it took a little while but after a while of watching Brooke decided to finally get in.








Cake & Ice Cream....surprisingly enough I did not cry when we sang Happy Birthday...but Brooke did...I don't know if it scared her or what but she started crying so hard and made me pick her up. Her cake was so adorable and tasted so good.









Opening Presents...she loved everything she got..Surprise! She was spoiled as usual too.









At Home after the party playing with Gam-Maw, Pop-Paw & Uncle John. Her party was on my Mom's birthday so we grilled for Mom and Brooke was bossy telling them what she they had to do....she made my Mom & Dad take their shoes off and put their feet in the pool. I have no idea where she gets her bossiness from....my Dad said she gets it honest.
