More like My Mom Everyday

So I have heard a lot of people say that Brooke favors me and some say she looks just like Chris....she changes with every pic we take...but she does look a lot like my baby pictures...I stumbled across my kindergarten pic the other day and you can def tell she is my kid. Also I think my sweet girl is going to get my curls. The back of her little head is full of curls and the front looks like I flat iron her hair...its so funny.

A Quick Update

We have been so super busy getting packed up for the move and trying to get our house leased for the 2nd time (long story). Brooke is growing and getting bigger by the day. Her new things are playing chase....she loves for you to tell her that you’re going to get her and chase her...she giggles and laughs so hard. I have also taught her to hold up one finger when you ask her "Brooke, How Old are you?"....it’s so cute. She is again teething like crazy, poor thing they are hurting her and she has bit me twice. She is back to gnawing on anything she can to get some relief we had a few weeks of teething free pain but that is gone....On another note our house will be finished this Friday the 25th and we will close on the 30th and move in on the 1st. Here are some pics from the last week or so and some of the new house

Lazy Sunday....

for Brooke anyway...So we are moving in 3 weeks(tentatively) so I am packing the house in my free moments(haha) free moments with a 13 month old are few are far between but I have managed to keep her entertained so I can get some things done. I was packing up the kitchen when I came across these plastic paper plate holders that I was going to put in the give away box when I decided to give them to Brooke....she literally played with these for an hour or so. I would stack them up and she would strow them out and then we would repeat the process...she then would take one and take a lap around the living room and come back to the kitchen with it....needless to say they have not remained in the give away box...I have a lot of packing to do and you just have to go with what works.

Brooke was stir crazy apparently because I started missing her because she was so quite so when I went to find her, I discovered she had climbed into her car by herself and had the belt in her lap ready to go...so even though it was literally a 100 degrees with a 100% humidity at 330 in the afternoon I took her for a quick hot stroll. She was more than excited. Our neighbor was cutting his grass so she was very interested in watching him, she is so nosy that I very rarely can get pictures of her looking at the camera.





I was trying to climb up in the window and fell down and hurt my bum...diapers just don't cushion the bum like they used to.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th everybody. We stayed home today pretty much all day and packed. We did ge out for a few minutes to visit the grandparents and to check the progress of the new house. I have included a few pics from today and one from a year ago today...my how she has changed.
